Chris J. Pate has been practicing law in Kansas since 2007. He is licensed to practice in all district and municipal courts in the State of Kansas, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Chris graduated from Friends University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Marketing. He then earned his juris doctorate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law, with honors, in 2007.
A lifelong resident of Wichita, after graduation from Oklahoma City University, Chris returned to Wichita, where he joined the firm of Case, Moses & Zimmerman, P.A., first as an associate, before being named a shareholder in August, 2013. In April, 2014, Chris became a founding member of Pate & Paugh, LLC, along with David H. Moses.
Chris focuses his practice in the areas of Criminal Defense, DUI, Traffic Offenses, Family Law, Divorce, Child Custody and Civil Litigation. He has extensive trial experience, ranging from traffic and DUI offenses, child custody matters, and serious felonies. Chris is a member of the Kansas and Wichita Bar Associations, and is also a member of the Wichita Bar Association’s Criminal Law and Family Law committees.
